Hidetake Takayama is a music composer born and raised in Japan. He graduated from Nihon University College of Art in 2005. During his college years, he began the early stages of his career as a composer and keyboardist. As his career progressed, he composed commercial audio tracks for a number of television programs and advertisements. He then released the first of his two albums, “Right Time + Right Music” in 2010, followed by “Asterism”, released in 2012. While composing “Asterism”, Hide also held the role of Music Director, producing the soundtrack for the Japanese Television program “Grace of Japan.” He is inspired by a wide range of genres such as Classical, Electronic, Hip Hop, Jazz, Soul, and Contemporary. Hideʼs original style of music is a direct result of his interests in the vast world of music composition. He now resides and writes music in Brooklyn, NY.

日本大学藝術学部映画学科卒業。在学中よりピアニスト/キーボーディストとして数々の作品に参加し、卒業後は映画/CM音楽制作と平行して自身のソロ名義での制作をスタート。2010年 1stアルバム「Right Time + Right Music」、2012年 2ndアルバム「Asterism」をリリースし、堤真一氏がナビゲーターを務めるBS JAPAN「Grace of Japan」、NHKジャーナル(ラジオ第一)等の音楽制作、近年では劇場映画「恋のしずく」(2018年公開)や多数の映像作品の音楽を担当するなど、CLASSICALからELECTRONICA、HIP HOP、JAZZ、SOUL、現代音楽まで様々なジャンルを取り入れたスタイルを確立。現在はニューヨークに拠点を移し活動している。
